Join the Stevenage FC Foundation team for strength and balance classes.
The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability.
You will be able to exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your local community who are at a similar ability level.
The classes last for approximately 1 hour with an additional 30 minutes for a cuppa and a chat. Each class is taught by a qualified and knowledgeable instructor who will be able to answer any questions you might have.
There is a mixture of standing and seated exercises. You will need to be able to stand for most of the class and be able to walk around the hall. Please bring a mat or a towel if you feel comfortable to try any floor work, however this is not compulsory.
Don’t forget to bring some water to stay hydrated and wear comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for exercise.
